Brooklyn Dynamic Business Room
This is a Dynamic Room for scenes which take place in a business, store, or office located in this part of New York. Scenes in this room are considered open during business hours. (Which for those places not open 24/7 is 9 AM to 6 PM for most stores and offices, and 5 AM to 11 PM for gas stations and supermarkets.) All scenes taking place here are considered open during business hours. Those occupying the room after businesses are closed must have IC reasons for being there and uninvited PC's spying on closed scenes must have some ST approved way of overhearing and/or seeing the occupants. Rook: "Yeah, I'm not always fighting, but sometimes its required of me. I kinda don't want to have a pit in my face where a piercing used to be, ya know?" He makes an effort to step away from her, while being gentlemanly enough to make sure she doesn't have a mishap from leaning on him and him suddenly leaving. He steps over to some pictures of piercings done to examine them.

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: She lets him go and moves over to the counter where her sketch book is. She grins a little watching him as she draw. "makes sense...only some scars are sexy"

Rook: He chuckles softly, looking back at her. "Yeah, I hear that. I'm a great healer, though, so I don't have any." He looks back to the piercing pictures. "Some of these are great looking. Any I get would have to be small though... like studs. I was kinda thinking about two small studs on the back of my neck..."

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: "oo that would be fun to do" she nods her head. "just remember if you don't like them you can take them out."

Rook: He nods once in agreement. "Yeah... I'd need them done kinda low, to be able to hide them under a shirt collar." He looks back at her.

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: "more than doable" she smirks. "and i get to see you with your shirt off, bonus perk for me"

Rook: He shakes his head a little, one corner of his mouth upturned. "I knew I shouldn't have come in here. Too damn easy to get hooked into something." He walks back to where she's sketching. "How much would it be?"

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: "25 plus the price of the studs"

Rook: Already reaching for his wallet- "Damn, I thought things'd be more expensive in New York." He pauses in pulling out his wallet for a moment, looking at her, and then resumes- as though thinking of something while making the motion. His mouth upturns in a half smile.

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: d10: per+empathy : 3,4,6,5,3,

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: She watches him as she leans back on her hand. "its a new member treat, sides, keep it low people keep coming for more"

Rook: He flips out a few bills from his wallet, setting them down in front of her, and while he stuffs his wallet back in his pocket, he's craning his neck to look at the selection of studs. He points with his chin first, and then with a finger. "These right here... nice'n simple steel balls. Yeah... knowing a place is reasonable with the prices makes it easier to justify gettin a new one even when money's tight." He motions with a finger and a thumb, spreading them to show a distance that's about the space between two the two canine teeth. "Can ya put them in about this far apart?"

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: She nods her head as she slides off the counter to grabs the studs. "thats an interesting choice of distance come on" she waves him to follow her into one of the rooms.

Rook: And follow her he does, pulling his shirt off up over his head while he goes, and then balls it up in one hand.

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: She gestures for him to lay on the table. "oo iget to poke you"

Rook: He lets out his first genuine laugh of the night. "Not often that gets to be said." His eyes twinkle with genuine humor at her as he slides onto the table.

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: she grin. "yeah its usually the other way around" she walks over uses a marker to show him where she is going to pierce. "this distance?"

Rook: "Heh... if you been hangin out with guys that tell you they get to poke you, I'm sorry." He eyes the distance for just a moment and nods slightly. "Looks good."

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: "they say they do, doesn't mean they get to " she prepares the site sanitising it and then uses a tool and a pierce to get the stud in.

Rook: He chuckles a bit. "S'what I expected to hear." He seems completely calm while she prepares, but when she actually puts the stud in, Rook flinches pretty hard and stifles a grunt as he causes himself extra pain. "Damn..."

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: She looks over to him "you ok hun?"

Rook: "Hell..." He kinda flexes the spot to feel it again. "Yeah, I'm fine... that just fuckin hurt... like ten times as bad as the tat I've got."

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: "well the second one always hurts worse. you sure your ready for it?"

Rook: He chuckles softly, closing his eyes. He nods a little, and then takes a deep breath, letting it out slowly. "Yeah... yeah get it done before I decide against it."

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: She does the same method as before talking to distract him more "are you sure?" she does it before he can answer.

Rook: Opening his mouth to reply, he gets cut off and he grits his teeth tight. Slowly relaxing, one corner of his mouth upturns at her, and he opens his eyes to look at her. "Heh... yeah... guess I was sure. Shit, you didn't tell me that was going to hurt like that." And again he tightens the muscles there, getting a feel for the studs.

Nixie Duval [Macabre Ink]: "some people it stings other it doesn't" she cleans her tools and sanities them. she then hands him a brochure after she slips of her gloves. "this tells you how to care for them" she grins taking a moment to run her nails down his back.

Rook: He shrugs at the stinging comment, and starts to take a look at the brochure- but his eyes close and he smiles as his back tightens at the touch of her nails. "And some people, it makes them smile..."
