Brooklyn Dynamic Restaurant, Bar, or Cafe'
This is a Dynamic Room for scenes which take place in a restaurant, club, or cafe located in this part of New York. Scenes in this room are considered open during business hours. (Which for those places not open 24/7 is 11 AM to 11 PM for restaurants, 5 PM to 3 AM for clubs, and 5 AM to midnight for cafes). All scenes taking place here are considered open during business hours. Those occupying the room after restaurants are closed must have IC reasons for being there and uninvited PC's spying on closed scenes must have some ST approved way of overhearing and/or seeing the occupants. Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: Holly sits in a corner coffee house at a tiny table that is completely covered by the spread out newspaper in front of her. In hand is a paper cup of tea and a blue felt tip pen. Her wool coat hangs drapped over her chair and her straight red hair is pulled away from her face with a plain white scrunchie. The twenty-something woman leans over the table while she searches the classified.

Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: Holding the paper down, and making page turning difficult, is a cloth covered personal journal, a pencil holding it open to the current page. The woman reaches up and gives the neck of her bulky dark blue sweater a tug. After a moment, she circles an ad and celebrates with a sip of lukewarm tea.

Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: Holly sets her cup on the paper covered table and rubs her palms against her jeans. She takes a moment to roll the ache out of her shoulders and lean back in her chair. Her face is plain, no make-up, the only color is a splotch of freckles.

Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: She takes another sip of tea, giving the cup a wry look afterward, then starts the task of lifting everything off the paper to flip the page. Just about the time everything is resettled she seems to realize that she didn't write down the info from the prior paper...carefully folding the page back, she writes notes into her journal.

Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: Holly checks her watch after jotting down the phone number, considers for a moment then shakes her head and resumes her search. One foot idly taps along with the quiet music playing in the background. She lifts her pen and pauses, the tip just touching the paper enough to start a slow spread of blue ink..after a moment she lifts it back up once more. "probably not a good idea...yet." she states quietly to herself.

Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: Reaching the end of the 'for sale' section, Holly skims a few of the other entries without fully opening the paper. She stops briefly on the 'pet' page and gives a small smile. One hand comes up to play with her necklace as she looks thoughtful.

Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: Holly lets the paper fall back to the table and reclaims her journal. She tucks it into the blue backpack nestled against her feet under the table. Likewise, her pen gets put away before she carefully reorganises the paper back into something resembling a fold. Standing, the woman flips her jacket off the back of her chair and slips her arms into the sleeves. She bends backwards in a stretch before tossing away her trash.

Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: She leaves the slightly marked up paper on a rack, just in case someone else wants a read. Then with backpack over one shoulder she returns to the register to get a fresh cup for the walk home and a few bagels for breakfast...

Hannah 'Holly' Yeager: (fade)
