Coney Island
Coney Island is a peninsula and former island of southernmost Brooklyn, New York City, USA, with a famous beach lying on the Atlantic Ocean. It's home to 60,000 people, as well as what was once the largest amusement area in the United States, attracting several million visitors per year. Although that era is long gone, the remnants of the parks are still there, some maintained by the residents. While it's no longer the biggest, it can still be the most interesting and varied. | |
