Chinatown
New York City's Chinatown, a tightly-packed yet sprawling neighborhood which continues to grow rapidly, is the largest Chinatown in the United States and the site of the largest concentration of Chinese in the western hemisphere! Both a tourist attraction and the home of the majority of Chinese New Yorkers, Chinatown offers visitor and resident alike hundreds of restaurants, booming fruit and fish markets and shops of knickknacks and sweets on torturously winding and overcrowded streets.

Conner Harlow: *grins again, flashing very white teeth, and nods his head toward the cafe* "Lead on."

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : *Ann will take his arm leading him to the cafe to get somethign warm to drink*

Conner Harlow: "Let me get these?" he offers, "Since I'm taking up your time."

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : *once in the cafe Ann would stip out of several outter layers of clothing. The last of which looks a bit like an armored vest to those that have only seen them on tv- but to those familiar with bikers it is a heated vest. Once out of everything she stands in a long purple skrit and a cream coloured peasants blouse- a tatoo on each of her wrists* so what would you like to drink?

Conner Harlow: *chuckles as they simultaneously offer to pay* "No, on me, what would you like?"

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : *smiling- her bright blue eyes seeming content* Hot chocolate

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : ((the tatoos are voodoun for sure- if he would know much about that let me know and I'll give you more details))

Conner Harlow: *gives her a thumbs up and heads to the counter, trying to check out her tattoos a bit closer on the way*

Conner Harlow: ((no, that'd be it, unless his aunt has a lot of dealings with voodoun))

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : *noticing his look she smiles* if you really wanna know I'll be happy to explain over some nice hot chocolate

Conner Harlow: *shrugs nonchalantly, trying not to show he's prying* "Sure, be right back."

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : *smiling she'll sit down at the table and wait on him to come back*

Conner Harlow: "Here you go," he says, returning after a short wait. "So, whats your story then?"

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : *She will hold out her right wrist* this is a veve of Damballah *most of the tatoo is on the inside of her wrist* He is the father of the Loa *watching for recognition*

Conner Harlow: *nods*

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : ((change that to the design meeting on the inside))

Antoinette (Ann) Laroque : *holding out her other wrist* this is the veve for Ayizan she was the first mambo *this is the one where the design is primarily on the inside*
