Atlas Booker: "You are correct." *He says with a nod as he zippers the dufflebag shut* "Perhaps in time."
Nicole Cooper [her place--today]: "And it is fine if you never do. I won't feel slighted or anything," she smiles, looking and sounding absolutely sincere. "Would you like a refill of your drink? Or to go out and take a walk?"
Atlas Booker: "Perhaps a walk..." *He suggests.* "Or, if you feel so inclined, a ride upon my motorcycle? It has been a great deal of time since my sidecar recieved a passanger within its confines."
Nicole Cooper [her place--today]: Her eyes brighten, to a nice shade of blue, again with the bit of green around the outer circles. "I would really enjoy riding in it. I should probably change clothes first. It won't take me too long."
Atlas Booker: *He nods and moves to stand.* "I will await you outside, i must stow my bag, and acquire my other helmet from the stowage." *He says with a smile as he picks up the duffle.* "Do not dally."
Nicole Cooper [her place--today]: She laughs softly, getting up and starts to tug up from the bottom of her tank top as she heads toward the back part of the house [it gets about half way up, but all he'd see is her back]], disappearing down a hallway.
Atlas Booker: *He blinks at that, and is perhaps a little too intrigued by the sight of another humans skin before turning with his duffle and stepping outside.*
Nicole Cooper [her place--today]: The girl is very fast changing. Given it is a warm day out, she finds an off-white, sleeveless, cotton, button down, cropped top, a pair of dark denim pants with a wide cuff, and her boots. Her hair is pulled back and tied back with a scrunchy so there is no ponytail this time. And this time, she is not wearing her glasses, but contacts [looks hazel]. As she comes out the door, she has managed to grab a very small satchel which is slung over one shoulder. Door locked, she joins him over by the bike.
Atlas Booker: *He is already wearing an old battered helmet and a pair of goggles and the bike is idlying gently, purring like the finely tuned and cared for machine that it is. When he steps up he hands her a similar old helmet, one baring british markings and a serial number, as well as an identical set of goggles.* "You may use them if you wish, they are a habit of mine that has never and will never fade i am certain." *He says as he stands there, his hands on his hips, with the riding boots, the leather jacket, the goggles and the helmet he might almost bring forth images of the old pulp heroes or of early fighter pilots*
Nicole Cooper [her place--today]: Taking the helmet, she studies it for a moment, touching it some and letting her fingers run over the markings and seems to read the serial number [quickly memorizing if, if she is even aware of doing that]. "Goggles will help keep the bugs out of my eyes, right? I would be blind if I lost my contacts." The goggles go on first before the helmet. "You look very nice in that. Leather suits you nicely."
Atlas Booker: "Thank you, i find the protective properties of the hide to be most useful." *He pauses* "As well i suppose the astetic qualities have some merit." *He gestures to the sidecar.* "The sidecar should be of little difficulty for you to sit in, as it was designed for me of considerably greater weight and dimension. Here is the restraint." *He indicates the seatbelt within, she'll notice the interiior is not particlarly padded, mostly because it looks like the majority of the padding is gone.*
Nicole Cooper [her place--today]: She almost has a bit of a devious smile when he mentions about leather's aesthetic qualities. "Not quite a saddle, but I don't think I'll have too much trouble." It really isn't too hard for her to get settled in the side car and belted in.
Atlas Booker: *If you begin to feel to much vibration, scream...admittedly it may be one of the only ways for me to hear you." *He says as he straddles the bike, with one more look over her harness he guns the engine, and shifts gear, and they begin to slowly gain speed as he angles them up the drive way.*
Nicole Cooper: "I should be fine, but I'll remember that...or whistle really loud like this," putting two fingers in her mouth, she makes a really shrill whistle sound, demonstrating several types of whistles actually.
Atlas Booker: *He nods, and as they reach the end of the driveway he guns the engine now, letting the full power of the old motor spring to life as he turns onto the deserted road, and with a lurch that might put her right back in her seat, they are off with a roar and a flash*
Nicole Cooper: She holds on and lets out with a "yaaaahooooo," in excitement, watching where he is taking them and enjoying herself immensely.
Atlas Booker: *He takes her across the backroads at a high clip, never doing anything overly dangerous, but he speed does not diminish, the wind and the roar of the engine drown out any opportunities for real conversation as he follows the many roads around her ranch, leading her past vaste valleys and farms, over hills and through forests, all the while maintaining his speed, except when he encounters any other vehicles. a good solid hour goes by before her ranch springs back into sight and he begins to slow, turning back onto her driveway.*
Nicole Cooper: No whistles from her or otherwise. If he looks to her, he can tell she's very much enjoying the ride, and glancing back to him every once in a while, even giving a thumbs up sign once.
Atlas Booker: *And he would have smiled when she did wide and toothy. When they return to the ranch he cuts the engine and pulls up his goggles.* "Am i correct in the hypothesis that you enjoyed yourself?" *he says a little loudly as hes still wearing his helmet.*
Nicole Cooper: After they are stopped, she carefully stands and swings a leg, then the other, out of the side cart. She stretches a bit, then does a few knee bends as well. While doing this, she takes off the helmet and goggles. "I loved it. And I brought us some water, but it's probably warmed now," also talking loudly just from the sound of the bike when it was running.
Atlas Booker: *He smiles and nods, removing his own helmet, his hair still held back* "It may be at that, but it is no concern, we are at your domicile once more, and there is plenty of water at your resevoir."
Nicole Cooper: "That is true. I can put them back in the fridge to get cold again."
