Manhattan Dynamic Restaurant, Bar, or Cafe'
This is a Dynamic Room for scenes which take place in a restaurant, club, or cafe located in this part of New York. Scenes in this room are considered open during business hours. (Which for those places not open 24/7 is 11 AM to 11 PM for restaurants, 5 PM to 3 AM for clubs, and 5 AM to midnight for cafes). All scenes taking place here are considered open during business hours. Those occupying the room after restaurants are closed must have IC reasons for being there and uninvited PC's spying on closed scenes must have some ST approved way of overhearing and/or seeing the occupants.

Adriana Carmichael [aware diff 9]: She frowns, plucking up her things quietly. The woman looks genuinely upset by Jim's request.. an odd look for the woman. She collects her things in silence.

Sun Mei Hui "Lola" [ Hot Pots Coffee House]: *Glances at the Doctor, then speaks to Jim.* So you staying for a Soy latte? They are pretty good here.

Jim Franklin: *He makes his apology barely audible, and with his head lowered, he does not respond to Lola.*

Adriana Carmichael [aware diff 9]: She leaves without saying goodbye. Her usual grace lost as she shuffles out the door and down the sidewalk.

Sun Mei Hui "Lola" [ Hot Pots Coffee House]: *Gives the Doctor a scolding look as she goes out.* Now see what she did? You are going to be like this all night, at least she could have apologized to you and tell you that you guys are still friends, or something.

Jim Franklin: *He shakes his head, and sniffs a bit.* She was r...right, I sh...shouldn't imp...impose.

Jim Franklin: *He shakes his head.* I sh...should get home, *he mutters.* If... if you n...need sanctuary. I d...don't think it will be a pr...problem.

Sun Mei Hui "Lola" [ Hot Pots Coffee House]: *Looks around.* I don't want to bring trouble to your doorstep. These creeps may not be here yet, but I don't to be careless. Why don't you talk to your heads first, then we can go from there. Sounds cool?

Jim Franklin: All r...right, *he murmurs.*

Sun Mei Hui "Lola" [ Hot Pots Coffee House]: *Smiles to him.* See you around Professor, don't let her bother you too much. Eat some Tofu ice cream when you get home, it will make you feel better.

Jim Franklin: It's s...soy, *he sniffles.* But I w...will. I think I still have some c...carob cookies too.

Jim Franklin: *He nods, and he actually wipes his eyes with the back of his hand.* I wasn't going to hurt her baby, *he murmurs.* J...just look, and m...maybe take some environmental r...readings. That's all.

Jim Franklin: Well, I'm w...wondering if the brilliance of the mother's mind will be p...passed on. If it is genetics or the nervous system that will r...remain in common. This research could pr...prove to be a leaping point in m...my studies.

Sun Mei Hui "Lola" [ Hot Pots Coffee House]: *Nods* I see, well...maybe when he gets older she will be a little less protective.

Jim Franklin: Maybe, *he says unhappily.* But by then the studies will have been missed. *He slides out of the chair.* I will s...see you... later.
