Downtown Manhattan
Downtown Manhattan contains the ethnic enclaves of Little Italy and Chinatown, the slums of Hell's Kitchen, the upscale art houses of SoHo and Greenwich, and the financial powerhouses of Wall Street. Points of interest in this area include the City, State, and Federal Goverment complexes, courthouses, the New York Stock Exchange, NYU, Union Square, and Battery Park. This is where the Brooklyn Bridge spans the East River, the Holland Tunnel leads in from New Jersy, and the Staten Island Ferry leaves on its way past the Statue of Liberty toward Staten Island.

Amanda Murphy: "hmmm, that might be a good place for me to look then since I don't really know what I'm looking for"

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: * He smiles... * " Hey, I don't know what you are looking for either. I just know they sell workout gear in there cause I walk by that stuff three days a week. Anyway I wanted to talk to you. "

Amanda Murphy: "sure what about?"

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: " Just about us. I mean I think you are cool and I like hanging out with you, but I got enough drama in my life right now without adding to it. So what I said about getting together more often the other day? I think we should put that way on the back burner. I met your friend and I do not want to antagonize the guy any more than I already have if you know what I mean. "

Amanda Murphy: *she actualy looks a bit like she's about to laugh* I see you've been talking to Roxy. Well that's fine- I have no problem keeping my hands off of you- but I would like to still be friends and hang out from time to time.

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: " Yeah I have, but not about that. I mean I live in her place so we talk. I met that Sim's cat and we do not get along, and rather than have more drama in my life I think I would rather we just be friends. I mean I will still tutor you and all that shit. Just no more dick for you. " * He kinda half grins. * " Not to sound rude, but thats the easiest way for me to say it. "

Amanda Murphy: *shrugs* That's fine- it was fun, but I'm not going to be heart broken or anything. As for Sims there is less going on than Roxy thinks. *said with a smile- almost like she wishes that wasn't the case*

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: * He shakes his head... * " I do not know what she thinks but I will take your word for it. "

Amanda Murphy: *smiling and not really seeming bothered at all* so now that sex is off limits what else do you do?

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: " I work out three days a week here at this place and most nights I hit up the clubs after I close the shop. Soon I am thinking or throwing another party. "

Amanda Murphy: hmmm- I was thinking of throwing another party too- I was thinking about a Rave next time so that no one would feel left out

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: " Well thats what I was thinking about. Roxy was going to help me out with some advertising on Girls of New York. Maybe we could join forces? "

Amanda Murphy: Maybe-

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: " Well think about it or at least tell me when you decide to do yours so we do not steal from each other. "

Amanda Murphy: Well I was thinking toward the end of next month- but was thinking something similar to the party I threw this month in advertising.

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: * He nods... * " Cool. I am looking further out than that so should not be a problem. "

Amanda Murphy: That works- now I just need to figure out what one would wear to learn to climb

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: " 5.11 pants and a shirt that will not snag on shit on the way up would be my suggestion. Elbow and knee pads would probably help too. And a good pair of gloves for decending. "

Amanda Murphy: hmmm, I'll try to find that. All I really know is I'm going to be learning on a wall with a harness so that I can't really hurt myself.

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: " The pants I know you can order online from Royal Robbins. They have loops built in to hold carabiners and keep the ropes straight. They cost like forty bucks a pair I think. "

Amanda Murphy: I can do that, but I'd rather find something where I don't have to wait on delivery

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: * He nods again and looks at his watch. * " Shit I need to go. Look online and find a dealer then. This is New York City. Someone will have them. "

Amanda Murphy: Thanks and I'll see you later *waving as she goes in to see what they have for sale there*

Lee Minardi {{ Capri Gym }}: * He heads down the street and is gone. *

Amanda Murphy: ((and thanks for the scene))

Lee Minnardi: * He's a rough looking young man in his early twenties. Standing tall at a few inches over six feet, with hard green eyes and a shaved head save for a thin, spiked Mohawk of black hair. His frame is well toned and muscular, looking like he could do a little more than just hold his own if things go bad. There is a small silver cone in his left earlobe and another silver barbell just under his bottom lip, above a well trimmed black soulpatch on his chin. Both arms bear elaborate tattoos of swirling flames, flowers, lightning and women in various states of undress. He is dressed in an old ratty motorcycle jacket over a Dark side of the moon tee shirts and old blue jeans. On his feet are an old pair of Oi boots. *((Fame 1, click link for pic.))
